A ring box that is too deep lets the ring tip over, and a necklace box that is too short folds the chain into a knot before anyone opens it. Most of what we make starts from that problem: the tray has to match the piece.
So a long chain gets a box almost nine inches long, a pendant hangs from a raised velvet pad, and a ring sits in a slit that holds the band upright. The people behind LETURE have been making these boxes since 2019, in velvet, in wood and with a small light inside, and each box is sized for one kind of piece, so start from what you are giving.

Before you order
How to pick the right box size
Measure the piece, not the box
Lay a necklace flat and measure from clasp to clasp. A chain longer than eight inches folded once still fits the long boxes, which run close to nine inches.
Check the band width for a ring
A slim band sits upright in any slit. A wide band or a stacked set is steadier in a double-slot box, where each ring has its own slit.
Count the pieces in the gift
Studs and a pendant together need either one set box or two boxes of the same color. The sets of two, four and six keep the color matched.
Think about the pocket
A ring box you plan to carry should stay under about 2.6 inches on its longest side. Measure its longest outside side before you order.
Leave silver out of wood for storage
A wooden box is for giving the ring. Conservators advise against wood and wool felt near silver kept for months, so move the ring to a closed tray afterward.
Plan for the second life of the box
A velvet set box can stay on a dresser and hold everyday earrings long after the gift is opened.

Which LETURE box should you choose for your proposal?
One you can carry unseen and open with one hand. The LED ring boxes are 2.4 to 2.8 inches on the longest side and light the ring as they open; the wooden ring boxes are 2.16 inches a side and look good in photographs. See every option on the LETURE ring box page.
Will your necklace fit in a LETURE gift box?
A pendant on a short chain fits the pendant boxes, which are about four inches long. A chain you want to lay out flat needs a long box, close to nine inches. If your chain is longer, fold it once in the middle.
How does the light in a LETURE LED box switch on?
By opening the box. There is no button to press, and the light falls onto the piece inside.
Can you store silver jewelry in a LETURE box for months?
For a gift and for daily use, yes. For long storage of silver, conservators advise closed containers and keeping wood, wool felt and rubber away from the metal, so a wooden ring box is better as a presentation box than as a vault. Our velvet box care page names the sources.
