The people who run the LETURE catalog write every page on leture.org. Here is how a fact gets onto a page.

Facts about the boxes

We take outside measurements, materials, set counts, ring slots, drawers and colors from our own product data, and when two descriptions of one box disagree, we print the more careful figure or leave it out.

The photographs and the home page film are ours. Frames with words or measurement lines printed over them stay off the site, so each picture shows the box alone.

What we do not claim

We describe what a box is made of and what fits inside it. We make no promises that a box prevents tarnish, keeps out moisture or protects a piece from damage, because we have no test that shows it.

Guides and sources

Our guides on storing silver and pearls cite conservation institutes, and we read each source before citing it. The date we read it is printed beside it. This is general information about storing and gifting jewelry. For a valuable or antique piece, follow the advice of the jeweler who sold or appraised it.

If a measurement, a color or a sentence here is wrong, write to hinge@leture.org. We fix the page and the product data behind it.
